Re: The Board vs The Fans
I got a response from that Steve Riley yesterday, obviously he couldn’t share personal information regarding my friend and his son’s ban but everyone who has received a letter now have the right to appeal, he has said that an e-mail has been sent to everyone outlining how to do this, although it’s very frustrating for fans who have been issued bans as they were not in their ST seats for the Chelsea match so do not know how they have been identified, especially as there is no CCTV or photos that have been produced so it seems that these supporters are now guilty until proven innocent.

I asked him about the move of the 114 to 127 and the introduction of the yellow hat thugs and this response was the below, although he seems to have skirted over the yellow hats so have asked him again why they think this is a suitable approach to request people with a cage fighting background to steam in:

London Stadium have worked with West Ham United and will continue to do so to reduce the risk of disorder and anti-social behaviour – this includes steps taken to widen segregation areas where necessary.

I also asked about the way they were acting towards the fans and that they are making the whole situation worse and got the below:

The decisions that have been taken are made in partnership with west Ham United, that said I am happy to discuss with you any opinions that you may have that will be for the benefit of supporters and will seek to reduce the incidents of antisocial behaviour, breaches of ground regulations and on occasions crimes that are being committed within the stadium by a minority.

It does all seem depressingly familiar.

I think that up until mid 2015 they had done a decent job. I agreed/agree that the move gave us scope to increase revenue and improve the side, was delighted that Slav had been drafted in and was pleased with the way the squad was developing.

Although we had a great/fortunate summer in the transfer market that year and ultimately a very good season the problems started to set in around the time of Slav's appointment for me. The migration process was clearly a disaster with the club panicking into selling the best seats to anyone willing to put down not much more than a score. Unborn babies were getting dibs on tickets ahead of lads who had been attending for decades.

However, the biggest issue for me however has been the lack of investment on the pitch. We were sold the move on the premise that a side would be assembled that would regularly be able to challenge for a top 4 spot. Yet they have persisted with this risk reducing transfer policy that includes loans with an option, free transfers and prioritising actual investments on the quality of the payment terms rather than the player. It's clear that this is not the transfer policy of an ambitious club.

I wrote the social cleansing stuff off as rambling nonsense (which coincidentally is what this post is becoming). Unfortunately it's bang on the money and I am absolutely gutted about the entire thing.

The woman is a fucking grade A cunt.

As are the the owners.

Time to stand up and be counted.

OUR club is now reviled and taken the piss out of by pretty much everyone you care to mention.

We let it happen..but we can redeem ourselves

Re: The Board vs The Fans
Didn't they also try and get Birmingham Ciry of all people involved in some new ground, hotel, casino thing off the back of Birmingham getting the Commonwealth games?

Sound familiar to what they said pretty much as soon as they'd taken us over?

Re: The Board vs The Fans
2010....She wanted a more family based support, and thought that could be created by throwing together a few community type entry things, whilst doing away with what she labelled their 'zulus'...I say labelled, because her label probably extended to anyone in the ground who didn't suit her view of what a fan of a club should or shouldn't do.

all pretty pointless, seeing there were already more and more families attending football anyway and had been for years.

there would have probably been even more at St.Andrews, had they not towards the end of their tenure announced things like "the best squad ever to be assembled at the club" and "no one to fear outside the top 4", only to see them relegated. Twice.

There is plenty of room at the OS to accommodate both types of support - they have deliberately chosen not to do so.

I can understand trying to replace them with wealthy types when you have moved a stone throw from Docklands. But who were they trying to replace them with at Birmingham ?

It won't remain behind closed doors.

Once/if complete, it will be proudly boasted about.

Just like it was at Birmingham City.

This is 'the vision'

It didn't work there and it's really something else, that the same doomed project is now being undertaken on a much larger scale.

Yeah, The Sun are really going to pick a fight with columnist Karren Brady.

As if the Press are going to report it.

There are two sides here, both are West Ham so the press will stay out of it.

If it was simply an anti-West Ham story then they'd be all over it.

Nor have I appyhammer apart from the idiot steward telling me to sit down in the BML v Accrington but that's not to say it hasn't happened. The incident in 127 is the club and stewards/bouncers provoking the fans.

It's actually like they want it to kick off in the stands. Absolutely mental.

been to all home games thus far and not managed to get into an argument with a steward or threatened to be kicked out

That's good that. I'd love for the press to pick up on this and approach Brady to ask what the fuck is going on. how can a club be that against it's own fans that they will risk our safety.

They are so busy accusing us for all sorts of shit that this this bullshit is being swept under the carpet.

Brady has to go now and G&S must also be held accountable for letting this happen.

I'm inclined to agree .

I'm shocked the National press haven't picked up on it .

It was the premeditated nature of the action that was most concerning .

Blocks 113, 114 were identified since the Domzale match as "difficult" - we know this thanks to Sanchoz's excellent persual of the SAG minutes .

That was followed by several attempts at getting people to do as they were told via threats of bans

That was followed by a forced eviction from the seats people had chosen - and paid for well in advance - and relocation to a different block .No choice other than a pro- rata refund was offered , and 48 hours notice was all they had

That was followed by Romford tipping us off a "Heathrow based" security firm had been contracted by the clubs suppliers for what amounted to "heavy work"

That was followed by a coordinated show of force by those specially uniformed , but not identified thugs removing supporters from their seats , with a clear threat of physical violence ( why else were they big, carried no identification, and were "outsourced" ?) .

Can you imagine the outcry if our supporters behaved in a similar way to those tasked with stewarding the ground or the clubs Directors ?

Her clear agenda is the subjugation of our support and the removal of traditional football values at any and every cost .

It's an utter disgrace and won't be forgotten .For our clubs Vice Chair to endorse the appointment of a special crew to manhandle supporters must surely spell the end for her retaining any credibility in the corporate world .

Chapter 2 in her next book - if you can't persuade with reason, use force .

Doesn't sound good does it ?
